I really dislike fan fiction as it is often a clumsy, misdirected and insultingly terrible exploitation of someone else’s hard work – but I am all for fan art. Remakes and reworks are only truly worth it if they bring something new to the table, and the way passionate artists can interpret words into meaningful images completely astounds me.
So here is a short list of some of my favorite fan-made dystopian covers that I feel demonstrate the sort of bold, powerful designs that can only be created by true appreciators of fiction.
